storyboarding

In today's lesson we are doing the storyboard and how and where the shots we going to do. we all shared each roles and drew the scenes out and what we intend to do. an example is for the 1st 17 seconds we will have an establishing opening sequence because the 17 seconds are just music and no lyrics. we will have a aerial shots of the area and then cut to the singer singing on the street.

To do the aerial shots we will use my drone to fly above us and in the locations we have decided to get the precise shots we want. We were also thinking to do some aerial shots when the sunset is taking place as the daylight hours are slowly decreasing we will utilise this time and get the best shop you can full stop I was thinking to do a brilliant establishing shot which will consist of the drone flying above the water or river approximately half a metre above and it will be moving forward but the camera facing the water flat down  which then I will use the controller and pan the camera up 90 degrees yet still moving the drone foward at a decent speed of 10-15mph which will give it a brilliant cinematic effect.

After this I intend to take a Birds Eye view shot of loads of trees together or a forest which will show the area of where the singer is performing as the main reason behind anestablishing shot is to show the viewer and where the video is taking place.

Furthermore we will use any more different shots such as close-ups medium shots long shots and extrem close ups throughout the whole scene.

The first immediate shot after the aerial establishing shot will be the singer sitting on either a brick wall or a roof with the camera low but tilted up towards the singer looking down at the camera. This is when the lyrics will be "first thing's first rest in peace Uncle Phil" it'll be filmed with a drone as well which will then after this  rise up and fly backwards however maintaining the position which will then show what is behind the singer which will be the local area of flats and parks behind him which connotes the area he was brought up in as the whole song itself is about the rapper J Cole and his life.
