Music Video- Case Study
At the point when comparing and contrasting AS media
contextual analysis with A2 media there is different ideas of various thoughts
utilized from an assortment to create my own music video.
I perceived how the ensemble of the principle of performing
artists made an engaging look to their intended audience group and will allow
them to relate more to the verses. Because of the way that we are doing a music
video in view of a melody delivered by J Cole we are utilizing his standard
image4 for our music video with the goal that it is more relatable to our
intended audience group furthermore for the general people who have effectively
known about the tune, No Remodels.
On-screen characters/Costumes
The on-screen characters/ensembles arranging was moderately
straight forward for making our music video. Ours costumes ensembles for
greater part of our scenes will be in an easy-going yet keen clothing which
every one of the performers have and artist used for the music video were
reached through WhatsApp messages, for example, jeans and shirt needed for once
scene will be requested via text.
Target Audience
Doing the pitch for our music video was exceptionally
helpful as the audience which we was pitching to was our intended interest
group. This implied the criticism that we got for our video would be from the
gathering of people which we are pointing it towards. The intended audience
group for our video is individuals who listen to hip hop/rap and can identify
with the dialect being utilized as a part of the verses and in particular
comprehend what they mean. At the point when pitching our treatment the input
from our gathering of people was very good. One of the primary criticism which
was negative was the possibility of us including cut scenes in the middle of
the tune, this is when we cut away to George bush talking on stage and people
thought unit may seem a bit odd however we explained why and how we will be
cutting away and the meaning towards it which is also bound by the lyrics.
Skills Improved-AS Media-Case Study
Since as media, my research skills towards media has
enhanced essentially which permits me to create more ideas from research and I
looked in to broader detail to other music videos genres.
One of the main
things I did was watch many music videos and how they are constructed and they
use of their camera angles mise end scene and how each genre video differently
according to the music and lyrics.
Whilst watching many videos with full concentration into the detail of
the choreography and camera i was inspired by many shots and have remembered
them so i can do them myself for my own video, an example is that in many
videos and movies such as in spectre they establishing shot is of a beautiful
rural scenery where the camera lays flat down looking at the sea then it is
moving fast but straight then the camera itself tilts slowly up making a
beautiful shot showing the audience what and where the scene is. This is
obviously done by expensive high tech equipment however I will try a replicate
this as i purchased a drone for the sole use for my media project to accomplish
this and many other high angle shots. The drone itself is very professionally
used by many cinematographer’s and can shoot in 2.7k an d up to 50 fps(frames
per second) so this will definitely help me accomplish the professional look
like the music videos and movies I have seen.
OK some of this is helpful, for example you do give a sense of having improved since AS. However your examples are very broad and general and your writing is rather waffly. Give specific examples throughout and use technology to embed images and video, which will help this reflection to have context. Vanessa
