In today's lesson we had an introduction to how to use the dslr camera in filing mode and tommy showed us all the necessary settings.
Tom took us a variety of things and also using the tripod. first he said us to Press the menu button then go onto movie and change the recording settings to
1080p 25fps. this will ensure the video quality is in hd and the frame rate will be at 25 to give a cinematic look.
Other control are
Exposure control
Shutter speed should be at 50
Aperture to experiment as every scene could need a different setting
Iso 100-1600 this should be used in these guidelines as if you go over then you may get an over exposed film or ohto and you basically will see white but if you go below it will be very dark and black which will make it difficult to see.
there are a few buttons on the side of the lens, 1 is to make the camera focus automatically or manual, this is done by sliding it from af or m
the screen is a moveable touchscreen so you can click on Q which is for quick menu and quickly press for your settings.
